Introduction

We consider it of great importance that data is handled with care. (Personal) data is therefore processed and secured by us with care. We comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the law for the protection of privacy and personal data. That means, for example, that we:

  • Clearly state for what purposes we process personal data. We do this via this privacy statement;
  • Limiting the collection of personal data to only that which is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed;
  • You to first seek permission to process your personal data in all cases where your consent is required;
  • Not to pass on your data to third parties, unless it is necessary to provide the requested service or when we are legally obliged to do so;
  • When we share your data, we make agreements with third parties to ensure it is not used for other purposes;
  • Taking appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and requiring this of parties processing personal data on our behalf;
  • Respecting your right to view, correct or delete your personal data upon request;
  • Using cookies for analytical purposes for your user convenience.

Purposes

We process personal data for one or more of the following purposes (depending on which services or functionalities you use):

  • Make use of all the functionalities and services on our website;
  • To be able to provide you with services, such as responding to your questions and contact requests.

We do not store data for longer than necessary. This means we store data for as long as it is needed to provide the service you have requested. The exception to this is data that we are legally obliged to store for longer.

Use personal data

When using our services and website, you leave certain data with us. This may include personal and/or visitor data. Depending on the services you use, we may process the following data about you:

  • Name
  • Street name and house number
  • Postcode and town
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Surfing behaviour

On the contact form, we ask for your permission to use the personal details you provide us with to be able to contact you. If you do not give permission for this or provide these details, we will not be able to contact you.

Rights

  • Right of access; you have the right to request information at any time about the personal data that we process of or about you;
  • Right to rectification (amendment); you have the right to request your personal data to be corrected;
  • Right to restriction; you have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data;
  • Right to erasure; you have the right to have your personal data processed by us erased. Erasure takes place in the situations described by law, for example, if personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were processed, personal data have been unlawfully processed, or when you have withdrawn consent for a processing and we have no other grounds for its processing;
  • Right to object; you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if it is processed by us on the basis of a legitimate interest. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

If you wish to contact us with regard to this privacy statement or to exercise any of the aforementioned rights, you may do so using the contact details of the Controller.

Complaints

If you disagree with the way we handle your personal data or the way a request has been handled, or its outcome, you can let us know. Naturally, we will first try to reach a solution together. If this is unsuccessful, you can always lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Secure and store

We will take appropriate security measures to limit the misuse of and unauthorised access to your personal data. For example, we will ensure that only necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected, and that our security measures are regularly reviewed. We will not retain the data for longer than is necessary. This means that we will retain the data for as long as is necessary to provide the service requested by you, unless we are required by law to retain the data for a longer period.

Provision to third parties

We respect your privacy and ensure that your personal data remains strictly confidential. All data collected by us will be securely stored and will not be lent, rented, sold, or otherwise disclosed. When we provide your data to third parties, we ensure (by means of an agreement) that your data is not used for purposes other than those specified in the agreement. We also agree that your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.

If you are 16 years of age or younger, you may only use our website under the supervision of your parents or legal guardians.
